“Take care of your Body, It’s the only place you have to live.”
So, as a student of Biology, the only specie I could draw confidently was the Amoeba. Reason being we were told that it had no shape; and you could create as many pseudopods as you wanted on your specie. Being asked to draw and label an Amoeba was always a bonus question in the Biology examination. The teacher would never mark you diagram wrong for sake of the shape you have given to it. Just like no two Amoebas are probably identical,each person is also unique! You must be able to fashion out your Health and Wellness goals.
Same goes for our Health and Wellbeing! Health and Wellness is a dynamic process. Like the Amoeba, our bodies undergo several changes-grow, heal, renew, etc. Our cells are constantly dividing and perpetually changing.
We all have gaps between what our ideal Health and Wellness status should be and what it is at the moment.Our many lifestyle choices can help us close this gap.
We already know that there is not just one way or shape to achieve Optimum Wellbeing. It entails a multifarious approach. We usually all would not be at the same point at the same time meaning we are extending different choices (pseudopods) to achieve good health and wellness.
The level of changes or success is determined by you. You must take personal responsibility to fashion out what you want to see and how healthy you would like to be.
Making sustainable healthier choices is not a fad, it is a lifestyle. After all said and done, our numerous lifestyle choices will eventually fashion the many changes our bodies go through as well as give shape to the type of body we want.
